Re-run with the Q45!
I posted a while ago how I put a length or so on a '98 Q45 in my Maxima.
Great morning this morning, I re-ran this guy and put buslenghts on his @$$, like maybe a 1/8 mile or so.
BOY I LOVE MY NEW Z28!!!

It's called an accident, but given it was my 3rd weapons related offense, which is strike 3 in NYS Law, I must serve the minimum 30 days in jail.

hehe...u know the 98 Q45 has a 4.1 liter(and not a 4.5) V8 pumping out 261 horsepower...i think it does 1/4mile in mid-high 15s....
still...i kicked the living shiet out of my friend's modded accord(4 cylinder, intake, headers, exhaust, auto) in my dad's 00 Q45..

I hope to get a Q45 soon, I might be getting rid of the Max Oh well, my garage is getting too packed anyways so it's either the Max or my bikes.
I fell in love with a Q when I had a chance to work on one a couple months back. Talk about over-engineering the rear-end is bulletproof. I hear it's so robust there are even full drag-racing cars using it. It's already becoming a hot commodity with the Datsun hot-rod community. The one I worked on had the hydraulic suspension with nitrogen modules. BAD ***!
The car had a problem with it's crank-angle sensor so we had to dip the tranny to replace it. While we were doing that I noticed that oil-pan was tapped, I traced it to a humongous T-78. Owner said his only mods were forged con rods, pistons and Haltech. He was doing 10 PSI on premium gas, says he could've done more but needed to O-ring the cylinder heads and upgrade to lighter valve components. Put down 521rwhp on a dyno. Total sleeper too, you had to get under the car to see something was up. 3" pipes, 4 exhaust tips. Oh yeah, the slight pfffft sound. There was another one in HotRod Magazine that had a 460BB with 200shot NOS that was doing flat 10's. Yo, you're not alone man!

Well it's good to see you're not heading to the joint afterall. Your story's a real bummer. I know I've been careless with firearms in the past as well that have made for really close calls.
For anybody reading this, no I'm not some automatic-rifle carrying maniac, I actually oppose violence. I'm very much a peaceful person but I now own a few firearms myself after a few home invasions and being held up once.
Yo, I'm curious as to the mods you have on your Q. T04? Did you swap in a Supra motor or something? When you said you ran into NY owners, did you mean owners or stock Q's or extremely modified ones? It's starting to **** me off since I've seen and hear so much about 500+hp ones but I can't find a source of any info. Why the secrecy? The people who do own them seem tightlipped so let's spill the beans man! Well hope everything turns out ok man.
