Looking to Buy 2002 SE 6-speed-3 questions
#41
I bought My 2002 Glacier White Se 2 weeks ago. I got every available option, including Navigation. I got them down to 29,600.00 I thought it was a great price since a co worker paid 31,300.00 without Navi. I used to own a Mustang 5.0 with over 5,000.00 in MODS. I also owned an LT1 Trans am 6 speed. While I know I couldnt beat any one of my former cars, I love the Maxx. It handles great. It screams through the high gears, which my v8 didn't . I've alwayshated import rice rockets, and still do ! Just because you slap 10 dollars worth of stickers , chop your springs and strap a coffeecan to your tailpipe , doesnt make you fast ! You couldnt pay me to drive Civic. But the Maxx is one heck of a car ! I recommend it to all my friends. Im going to start doing some work to it soon !

I'm ever SOOOO close. Given the fact that my 99 Accord's auto tranny needs to be replaced ($5G+$700 labor, thank you), there's an EXTREMELY good possibility that I'll have a 2K2 Maxima by this time tomorrow!! Is $27G for an SE w/leather, sunroof and TCS a reasonable offer? (Edmunds has the TMV @ $26.6G w/ a $26.1G invoice)

I WORK AT NISSAN......
1) as far as chipping is concerned.....the Gray Lustre will hold the chipping better....due to the special design of the paint...
2)Honestly the black will attract more particles and dust compared to the Frost, but in my opinion the black looks much better, and its not THAT big of a deal.
3)AND third, thats a great deal...ususalyy the lowest a company goes in $500 over invoice, thats a deal we would never do, so go for it. But, if i were you I would do 2 things. 1 - make sure the car comes with ABS..very important( You'll Thank Me Later), and 2-try to get leather...youl be crying for it for years to come if you dont...It feels like a totally different car and is worth the extra $1500 bucks. Oh and finally...Make sure they ar'nt jipping you an the APR...cause what i think they're doin in probably telling you that well give you a great deal, but jacking up the APR...cause thats what they'll do...they will lie to you and say u were only accepted at X APR even though you got something better. APR makes a big difference in your monthly payment, ad id say if youi had good credit, i wouldnt believe that they should charge you over 5.9% on a 5 year deal. HOPE THIS HELPS.

QUESTION: For those of you with the Frost Leather interior, I know the carpet/mats are hard to keep clean. But how about the leather itself? Do you notice it getting stained by denim jeans, etc., and how hard (or easy) is it to clean?
