Emax95 and tail lights

yo Ethan,
I already tried search for it, but the last thread i found about you talking about how to put the switch out the orange cover with red cover in the tail lights, ended with you saying you messed up.
BUT YOUR TAIL LIGHT IS STILL RED AND IT LOOKS GOOD
can you post a link if there is any write up on how to do it, thx
I didn't PM him, cuz i thought other people might wanna know to.

Ahh Newmans gotta a "feeling" . Yes I love lieing to my fellow maxima friends, I get a real kick out of it

I reality I spent about $600 and about 20 hours fooling around with my tails, but hey Newmen has a "feeling". Thats insulting.. I know of at least 2 org members who have seen my tails in person.

http://www.webphotos.com/list_photos...&smi=1&a=52311 Heres a album of pictures of me working on my tails, hey maybe I photoshoped them too? .

Like I said before you have to cut the lenses off using a dremel, they are pressure fitted in so the only way to open them is to cut them presisely, using a heat gun does not work.

After the lense is removed you have to unscrew two small screws in the back of the taillights, once you do this the tail lights come apart yet again. Then push out the tail light lense from the back, them paint it with translusent red spray paint, front and back. After that( I have not finsished yet) you have to glue the covers back on.

But you know what, maybe I'm just making this all up, I enjoy wasting my time and lieing to people on the internet..

i didnt mean that as an insult. i just remember your thread about how the tail light project got screwed and i hadnt read anything about you trying again. but hey, take it as a compliment. i assumed it was photoshopped because nothing could look that good in real life
i apologize.

i didnt think you were trying to fool anyone. i thought maybe you did it (had you in fact photoshopped it) to show what it could look like.

Maybe more like $450, stiull way to much. If everything went well it would have only been about $100.

Ok Newman.

N problem bud, it's just offensive becuase I put some much effort and money into doing it and I have explained what I did so many times. But hey if you meant well then I am not offended.
