2002 hid question

i dont even own a 5th gen max (i have a 3rd gen), but i was just wondering about those 2002 hid's. whnever i see them on the road, i cant even tell theyre hid's until i get up close to the car. from a distance, they almost have that yellow halogen glow. maybe its just me. but whenever i see like a lexus or a beemer, i can tell right away that they have hid's. they have more of that blueish white to them. just wondering why that is.

all the Nissans use 4500K bulbs, Audi/BMW use 6000K.. Seach for 6000K here and you'll find a ton of posts..

Its all a matter of just switching the "burners" at the expense of your wallet right? As long as you have the ballast system in there you can plug any H.I.D. burner in there right?

Re: 2002 hid question

I never really noticed that Maxima HIDs aren't as bright. That is disappointing to me if that is true.

Actually my friend has a BMW 325xi and I tend to think his HIDs aren't as bright as the Max.
Personally I've noticed Lexus and Audi seem to have the brightest ones.

no... not true..

search..

4500K is technically 'brighter' than 6000K. Color temp not = brightness.

its all in the old posts
