Current Nissan Financing

I just wanted to see if anyone had an idea what the current deal is with Nissan Financing. I am purchasing by month end and need to see if I need to obtain outside financing or if the are still running 3.9%, etc.

FYI: In 2 weeks, I will be the proud owner of a 2k2 SE, 6sp, Serling Mist, Black Leather, HLSD, BOSE, Meridian $30,800 sticker. I have them down to $25,300 right now.

Thanks for the info,

jay

On TV last night I saw 0.9% on everything, but Xtrerra, when you pick up by April 1.

.9% is only good up to 36 months. You would also get the $1000 rebate. If you go 60 Months it is 3.9%. How did you get them that low. I am looking at the exact same car and options (maybe different color). I heard about $300 over invoice is where I should shoot. Are they really giving that great of deals?

.9% for 36 months and you DO NOT get the 1000 cash back. I'm looking at the ad in my local paper as I type this... unless the ad is wrong but it clearly says .9% is not allowed the 1000 cash back.

33K MSRP can only be reached with the addition of the NAV, which you do not have, sounds kind of shaddy.

It is either the cash back or the financing.

Rebate

So the $1000 rebate is only available with the 3.9% financing up to 60 months? That would make more sense how you got the car down into the 25's.

Financing

they have a dealer here advertising $5500 off sticker on auto's and 6-speeds. Granted, I have no trade in which helps and I'll put about 6k down(actually if i get 3.9 i'll only put $4500 down)! About the 33k sticker, I bet it had some BS paint protection or something. Otherwise it wouldn't be that high even with NAV. Also, this is the Atlanta area. I should have it in less than 2 weeks and dyno it when I hit 2k miles and have it at the track soon after. Hopefully I should have some good times, I have made over 250 passes at the strip in my NA 200SX SE-R, posting a best of 14.1@95.5. I have launched it on street tires, drag radials, and slicks. Hopefully with an intake, pullies, and y-pipe(when available) I should be in the 13's!!

i could be mistaken then. i have it in my car. ill look later. maybe that was the price with the "Added mark up" and the dealer things like "custom pin stripes" and "wax and dressing" or whatever.

when i got the car in february the choices were either $1000 cash back OR 3.9% for 60 months. i THOUGHT it was 3.9% for 36 months too but that wouldnt make sense really. with the new .9% maybe things have changed. maybe you can get 3.9% for 60 months along with the $1000 back.

Jay, Thats one heck of a deal you have going there. I hope the dealer isn't just yanking your chain. Have you got it in writing? The dealer cost after rebate and holdback are considered on this vehicle is $26,301. That is the amount that the dealer will pay Nissan for the car (after you sign a form giving the dealer the rebate). You have a deal that is $1000 under that. I'm sure everyone in the group would love to hear how you negotiated that deal. I felt pretty good about getting exactly the same car at $26,661, but now, after reading your post I'm searching for the anti-depressents. Please share your secrets with us.

Prices in Ads

I saw an SE auto loaded w/ nav being advertised in the Boston area for $5500 under MSRP. I talked with the dealer about a 6spd hlsd but they couldn't come up with what I was looking for, so we never really talked price.
I don't know where the money is coming from for this $5500 under MSRP thing, but I know I couldn't find it on the car I wanted. It seems in the ads the car being refered to as $5500 off is the highest price Max in the dealers inventory.

I checked yesterdays issue of CarDeals, and the only rebate in effect for the 2002 Max is the $1000 or 3.9%. No factory to dealer money listed. Does anyone else have any info on this? Has anyone actually done one of these $5500 off MSRP deals? Did the dealer add a bunch of additional charges to the deal?
