I really like the look of the chrome door handles on the GLE & GXE. I was thinking about swapping some for my body-colored ones on my SE. I assume I can purchase them at my local dealer, but know nothing about the insall procedure. Is it difficult? Is there some sort of clip(s) on the inside of the door, that once removed, the whole handle assembly pops out?

im pretty sure someone in your area with a gxe would be more than willing to swap. try proposing a trade in the for sale forum.

 

Good idea. I'll try that. But still...anyone with any info. on the difficulty of doing this install?
