bodykit owners enter...

Is it much harder to have regular maintenance done on your car? (brakes, tires, whatever else involving a lift)
I spoke to a tire person today saying that the car cannot be put on a lift anymore and he says it makes everything harder.

I have a 2K1 with the AE kit and this kit does not present any servicing problems. I can't speak for some of the more wild kits out there but I would expect the Stillen kit to present no problems also.

I second this. Part of the benefits of having the AE kit is that it was designed by Nissan so that the car could still be serviced normally. The orignal Stillen kit is also designed in much the same way as the AE kit. They are in fact almost identical. The AE and Stillen kits are pretty clean kits, nothing really extravagant.

Not true. The Stillen kit does not in any way cause problems when putting the vahicle on a lift. I've had my coilovers put on and got new brake pads on my 2K while the body kit was on. Very interesting that a mechanic would say that. He must not know anything about it.

I have the Sarona kit and my car is pretty low. I can't go onto most lifts at shops due to the front bumper. And jacking up the car is a more delicate procedure because of the skirts.
