I just got a call from Trenz, they said that they just completed the 2002 Maxima grille today. Here is a picture of what it looks like. Please tell me your thoughts about how it looks, I asked them if it is possible to make the grille without the "V" on top and they are going to see if it can be made that way. That "V" is there for support during the cutting process. CustomMaxima.com will have them in stock soon. Not sure on price yet but it should be close to the 97-99 Maxima Grille price. The valence for the 2002 as well as 2000 and 2001 grille and valence will be coming soon. Email me with any questions.

its illegal to have the clear lenses period. getting the properly colored bulbs just makes it seem a little more legal since you cant tell they're clear at night.

thats because they are meant to replace the stock ones... i bet if you keep them on ur car and stick an orange reflector somewere near it they would be totally legal.... anyone tha really knows wanna chime in?

UPDATE!!!

I spoke to Trenz and told them that you all did not like how it looked. I even had them read this post to see some of your comments. So now they are going to go back and redesign it and I will have new pictures for your input. I'll keep you posted. Thanks again for all your input.

Reminds me too much of a Cadillac or Lincoln grille. Not very attractive at all.

Yes, you're absolutely right. Thank you Trenz for spending all your time and effort in research and development for us. I'm sorry we didn't like your grill and I hope we don't sound too ingrateful. Of course, I'm speaking for myself, but I'm sure others feel the same way.

...

I agree we should try and help TRENZ, but they NEED to gather OUR input.

They should come up with a few possible designs and let us vote on them.

They should offer them in at least 3-types of material:
1)Polished aluminum
2)Chrome
3)Unfinished paintable material
