Thanks guys

No stereo plans yet. Although I'm looking at a sponsorship from Eclipse. They are looking at a fast 4-door sedan in their lineup. If they do I'll be getting their new double din 6.5" indash monitor with CD/DVD....who knows.

As far as my 2K Max goes, I will be selling most of my aftermarket parts. I already have a few people that are interested and I will post in the for sale section if anyone is interested. Items for possible sale:
Stillen body kit
Stillen Y-pipe
Stillen FSTB
Stillen RSB
My full Eclipse video system (sold as a system)
JL amps
Optima Yellow top
Eibach springs
Tokico struts

...possible more. I will find out later this week when I take all the parts off.

Hey Kev, are we going to see you this week?

Regarding parts......two things will happen. My Mom's boyfriend will buy my car as is or the car will be traded in and 2 guys from Tweeter are going down to the dealership to strip the car down to bone stock including the Stillen parts. Once a decision is made I will post....

Who here on Maxima.org has the same setup as me? Majestic blue/6-speed/black leather....

Thanks to all of the 2K2 6-speed owners for all of the info needed for me to buy my new 2K2

Very nice car. I got the exact same one.
Did you get the HLSD?
Mine doesn't have one, I wish I had it though. Tires spin very easily, if it is wet or icy outside.

Enjoy the car.

I just bought it yesterday with 2 miles on the odometer and I have been basically babying the car since. It now has 226 miles and I have been slowly breaking it in. Some harder take off's I feel no torque steer at all (the car does not have HLSD). Probably at around 1,000 miles I will run synthetic oil and take it to the track to see what she can do. I just ordered a Franken intake...and I can't wait to install it.

Me, too...just picked up (finally) a November-ordered 2k2 Majestic Blue 6-speed (HLSD, mats, guards), with 3 miles on the odometer. Now it has 16. Sweet ride.

I really don't drive my car that hard so I didn't see the need for HLSD...plus there were none in the state of California with Majestic Blue, Meridian, 6-speed w/HLSD....which I originally wanted but I settled for this one and paid something like $27,800 for it out the door. Damn I love this car.

Congrats Dave on the new purchase. I finally got my car back on Friday from the incident on the way down to your shop that day. I should be ready to come down and have my stereo upgrade in the next couple of weeks. I can't wait to check out your new one. Are you going to keep your subs and box? If not I would be interested as well as one of your JL amps. E-mail me and let me know.

Up here in snowy Wisconsin, HLSD (though I had to wait for it) will be a winter godsend. I got the $1000 rebate, for a total negotiated price (options just HLSD, floor mats, splash guards) of $23,000...with tax & tags & fees out-the-door: $24,431.50. So far, I think it's a hell of a car, too.

Same as you, Majestic Blue. (But with black cloth interior, not leather...even with Meridian, leather gets pretty brittle and chilly at -25 F!) I've got about 50 miles on the car now since picking it up last night, liking it more and more...and I liked it a lot to start with.

Majestic Blue is a nice color, for sure, but it really looks like hell when dirty. (I think I should have gotten a white one--either that or visit the car wash more often...)

u can use the tokicos too...that is..if u wanted them..

the rear and side kits should fit(although ur car already came with the side sills..), so just buy the front clip(maybe the Stillen Fascia?) i think u can even use the rear sway bar too!

congrats on ur new awesome car!!

Congrats. I hope you like your as much as I do. I got basically the same setup as you with the Sterling Mist/Charcoal Leather for $27K even. I am happy that I am just going to be paying like $250 in interest for the 3 years. Gotta love that 0.9 financing.
