Is the wiring already set up to put in Factory Fog Lights? If not, is it hard to install my self? Can anyone tell me how much they cost also? Thanks

 

On the GXE maxima when you remove the fog light cover inside you will see a connector taped to the on the side just cut that tape and your ready to proceed...then remove the steering column and remove the turn light handle and replace with new one and dont forget to add the relay

The fog light switch is integrated into the turn signal stalk which a new one is included. The kit goes for $176 at http://www.courtesyparts.com and that's probably the best price you'll find.

 

Don't pay anyone to install it for you.
It is very easy.

But on the passenger side fog light, after you get under the bumper, there are TWO wires. Only 1 is for the fog lights. I dunno what the other one is for.
The wrong one has a different connector, so it won't fit anyway. The correct wire is taped a little higher up, so it is not easiyly visible at first. I thought my car was a defect because all i found was the wrong wire with a diferent connector. I drove around for a month thinking I have to go to the dealer when I have time. One morning, on a hunch, I got beneath the bumper again, and there it was, the correct wire. I didn't see it because it was taped a ltttle higher.

I think the wire that did not seem to do anything is your groung wire is it black by any chance?I am pretty sure It's there for a reason,so If it is your ground wire you should be using it in case of a eletric surge or something.
