01 Maxima Se Auto Problems

I am having a problem with power loss in my 01 maxima automatic. It is fine when i first start driving and the engine is cold. After about 5 minutes or so I feel like i lose about 40 hp or somewhere around there. Anyone got any ideas of what is happening? I know the first problem is owning an automatic.

Can you describe it in more detail? At what rpm? gear?

It's mostly when i am around 4k-6k rpm's. It doesn't pull like when i first bought it. I got it new and now i have about 16k miles on it.

i got 57,768k on my 2k Max, my Max is also Automagic SE and it works fine. how are you testing to see if you are really loosing power?
