Me Schooling A Celica GT-S Big Time, VIDEO INSIDE

This was a race b/w me and my Friend with a Celica GT-S 5spd. He has a Intake. Someone Count the Car lengths I beat him by

Nice kill. People always underrate the Max... Which is one of the things I like most about owning an 02... People just have no idea. Its such a sleeper! Its like they still see/think 'camry or accord, family sedan' when they look at it. Some fool in a 5 speed mustang 6-cyl (not GT, but still funny) revved at a light, I didn't even look at em, and when it turned green, they nailed it. I took a half a second, for dramatic impact, gave them a chance to get all lathered up, then punched it. I had a car length by the time I hit 50mph, and I drive an auto! I never get tired of that... Then of course I got the 80mph flyby afterwards... (we were on a suburban neighborhood road)

Sounded like you were spinning one wheel around the corner, without our POS open diff you would have been 2X that ahead.

Nice But I only see about 1 or at the most 2 carlengths. And people still hang CDs on the rear view mirror?

You need a b-pipe to open up the sound a bit more on that HKS. Probably give you a couple of HP too!

Thanks guys, I enjoyed this one

Maxtor, The sound is deep enough for me. I thought about getting rid of the resonator but I changed my mind. The HP gain won't be much from the B-Pipe, You'll end up looseing a lot of back pressure.

Jeff, I Know the CD is ol-school but What can I say, Its got somthing on it that Only I understand.

Matthew, My tires are bald so thats why there's a lot of wheel spin. I like that a little better then wheel Hop

One other thing to consider...in the video, it looks like you had the outside lane coming off of the start...that has to be about the same as giving the Celica a 1 or 2 car length jump on a straight away.

Nice run!

Don't forget Pioneer also had an extra body in the car......I'd say he walked him pretty hard despite the extra 150lbs(average).

One for the maxes against those who attacks
May they rest in piece, drop to their knees, car in the impound and lose the keys.
The power of VQ, so fast, owned by you.
Out do the rest, Maxes are the best, You have a Max, you passed the test.
Some of use have bass. Others love to race. Other cars are discrace, compared to us. Quickness is a must. Leavem in the dust.
Maxima brother the time is ours. NOS,CIA, any mod enpowers.

All I need is one lane.

Was it a 6 speed? The reason I asking is that the GTS only came in 6 speed or automatic.

Yeah, its a 6 speed. I drove his car, His 6 speed is like my 5 really, The gears are a little shorter.

Yeah he was trying to keep it in lift mode but its not so easy to keep it there without shifting quick.
