rsb install help

i got my addco the other day and went to install today and had instructions in hand. everything went smoothly until i could not for the life of me to get the bolt to through the bushings and mounting plate on the trailing arms. i went with the ramps approach, mainly because i had them on hand. i tried using a mallet, hell, i even used a c clamp to bring it together and it just wasnt happening. do i need to file anything or should i go get some larger square U bolts with the same threads or what? any tips that arent listed on the typical install sheets? i will give it go tomorrow if i can figure out another approach. i greatly appreciate any input.

What the hell is wrong with those people @Addco Time and time again they keep sending people the wrong U-bolt for the trailer arms. Sloppy, I went throught the same thing. Got my bar through a group buy and the majority of us (5th Gens) received U bolts that were too small. Do not even bother with the instal until they send you the right one. Give them a call, they shouldn't have a problem recognizing their mistake since they've dikked over so many of us already.

Sorry but I don't have their # anymore. Try to ask Gregg, he should have their customer service #.

I installed my addco RSB this past weekend...I had the same problem UNTIL I realized there are TWO types of mounting plates. One of the varities of plates has a larger hole. Use "larger hole" plates for the square bolts...

On a good note, ADDCO is very responsive and will ship out new HW ASAP.
