AE pedals on 2k2

My AE pedal arm did not fit my 2k2 since its not a drive by wire... i had to unclip the metal pedal and clip it on the stock pedal arm... with a little sawing ... does any other 2k2 maxima have the AE pedals run into a similar dilema?

I put the AE pedals on my 2k2, all I did was unclip the pedal from my 2k2, and the AE pedal from its arm.. It seems the post from the AE was a little bigger and the clip didnt grasp it tight enough, so we wrapped a thin layer of black electrical tape, on the 2k2 post, and snapped the AE pedal right on.. The hardest part was working the brake pedal on...

ya very similiar to what i did.. except that i couldnt get the stock accelerator pedal off.. so i had to saw it off

anyway... the accelerator arm doesnt fit because AE maximas were drive by wire and the 2k2s are electronic throttle so i had to take off the AE metal pedal from the arm and put it on where sawed off OEM pedal was... since it wasnt an exact fit, i had to use some electrical tape..

Anyone out there actually install the whole arm on their 2k2?

My experience with the AE pedals on my 2k2 was exactly to the letter as what was done by Chitwista. Boy, getting the brake and clutch pedals on was a pain. In fact, the accelerator pedal was the easist part of the install.
