Installed New Speakers and Amps, Kept Bose Headunit

I just replaced all of the speakers in all four doors inlcuding the A-pillars using far superior components to what Bose and Nissan thought was good. I also added two new amps and a real subwoofer. All this and I retained the "Bose" (it's really a Clarion)6-CD headunit and steering wheel controls. I completely rewired all of the speakers. I'm still tinkering a little with crossover frequencies and boosts, but I need to wait until the speakers break in.

I am stumped on one thing -

How I disable the annoying beep whenever I press a button on the headunit? When I reconnected the power to it it got reset to the dumb beep mode.

Thanks,
