0 to 60 & Qtr Mile times '02 AUTO GTech-Pro

Hello!
For those who are curious, I took the G-Tech Pro Meter out of the Mustang to run some numbers on the 2002 Maxima SE Automatic. Keep in mind, I did only 1 run and I didn't abuse the car (as needed to squeak out the most performance possible). My car has 7k miles on it and it is out-of-the-box stock.

0 to 60 - 6.40 seconds
quarter mile - 14.99 @ 98 MPH

I know a could improve on these numbers a little... I just like my Maxima to much to rag on it.

The 0-60 seems a little too fast, but the 1/4th seems to be fairly accurate.

The concensus on the 2002's seems to indicate that you could do much better. The auto's are capable of 14.7 1/4's stock. I don't blame you for not pushing it too much though.

actually craig mack, if he did the test pretty accurately with the GTECH, and i use the term accurately very loosely, his 6.4 0-60 is actually a little slow for a 2k2. I, myself, own a 2k auto SE, fully loaded, so it weighs in almost 3400lbs, and i was able to tick off 6.6-6.8 on the GTECH for 0-60 times, and me and my friends do this like every week, hoping to get better times. Also from what i remember the 2k2 wasnt exactly the easiest thing to launch, so much torque and all.
