will this tire fit the 2k max wheel?

i want to get 18" tires but i dont know anything about the stock 2000 maxima SE rims.
will this size tire fit the rims?

235/40-18

No. The largest rims Nissan provides for the Maxima are only 17" in diameter.

Heres how to read a tire... first number= width second number equal aspect ratio third number is the size of the wheel.
