k&n filter

Do I have to unplug the battery to reset the ECU after I put in the k&n drop in filter? I read on a post last time that that was recommended... I dunno whether overnight or for a couple of hours

I didn't, and I've had no problems in the 15,000 miles of having it in.

Did you feel any difference after putting it in? I heard that if you reset the ECU, it will read the higher inflow of air and utilize it...

No.
Roger that. The difference in air flow is not that dramatic. And you're not changing the intake geometry. So there's really no reason to reset the ECU.

First place it in and drive around, then reset it and see if you can notice a difference. It couldn't hurt.
