I'm curious about some features that I've seen on other cars. Before buying my 02SE, I was seriously considering a 330i (but I came to my senses). The BMW had a few things that I wish my Maxima had as options: rear parking sensor, rain sensitive wipers, and real active handling.

Someone previously asked this question about the rear parking but I didn't see an answer. Has anyone installed (or know of) a aftermarket rear parking sensor? There doesn't seem to be many companies making them. I don't frequently parallel park but often enough that it would be worth my money. And yes, I know how to do this but this is what automation is all about.

The rain sensitive wipers is something of a gimic. But it would be nice to have wipers that worked based on how wet the window was getting rather than a set time delay.

The handling is another issue. I know the 02 automatics have TCS but the manuals don't. I understand that the TCS can't downshift a MT but the BMW had a system that cut engine power as well as used the braking. That seems a better idea than forced downshifting. Is this an ECU change or could this be added (to only affect the braking)? Thanks in advance.
