I was wondering if you where to be able take the orange piece out and replace it with a red piece so it was all red. I would buy them but as long as it has the orange I am not buying. At least with my 2000 se tails it's just a bulb.

I said only if you were able to remove the orange out of the taillight and replace with a red so it's all red I would consider it.

Ethan (emax95) did this to his 2k2 tails.

i think this is how he did it:

he bought some 2k/2k1 GXE tails then used a dremmal to cut out the red part, took apart his 2k2s tails, took the orange piece out and replaced it with the red.

he said it was a very expensive and time-consuming process. too risky if you ask me. he used to have a picture of it in his sig but it looks like its gone now.
