How would a Corvette do against a SC'ed 00-01 Max @ 9 (cooled) psi's?

Kev,
Sorry Kev if your sig is accurate with 283hp you probably will lose.
Most of the older Corvetts are at least 300 hp and the new ones are 350 to 405. They generate huge torque and weigh about the same as our Max. They have positraction and launch like a rocket with lots of tire on rear 275/40/18 stock and top speed of 170+ mph.
Cheers,
Bruce

A 5 speed swap.
Forgot to mention this: I'm running a 3" SC pulley now and an even smaller one should be at my door steps by the end of today. Yes, I'm breaking into the 2" barrier.
I'm not sure how much hp the 3" pulley (vs. 3.125 at 288 whp), but I should be very close to 300 whp.

who ever said bigger was better!
Good luck on building that monster.. I just received my 3.25 pulley and I swapped out the NOS kit for a NX kit(much nicer features IMO)...300+fwhp here we come!

Similar engine about 30 less hp. It was friggen gone. I respect ANYTHING that can pull away like your standing still at 115mph.

There were no ZR-1s after the 1995 model year.
