Has anyone from this forum put 19" wheels on their 2k Maxima? If so, could you please let me know how they ride and if you have any pictures could you post them. Thanks, Tom

Me too...

I have been considering this myself. I can imagine that the ride would be harsh. but lets wait and see what the consensus is.

considered them for a while and decided not to because ppl were saying its not worth the 1inch diff. between 18's and it starts getting too expen$ive! Performance also starts to be compromised....so i settled with 18 inch konig tantrums and love them! Gl findin what u want

I hear 19's can rub against the fender wells. I guess it would depend on the width, but I wouldn't go narrower than 8" on 19's.

Hey Ed,

That's sweet that you're getting 19" Axia wheels. 1st question, where can I view these wheels on the net, and the second is what type of shock/spring combo are you going with? Thanks for your time. Tom

I guess there's not to many people with 2k maximas out there that have 19" wheels. Oh well, I guess we'll be the only ones. Good luck to everyone who responded with your 19" wheels. Tom

It will help with your search on the net to spell the brand of rim correctly...they are AXIS Se7evs (not AXIA)...

im gettin 19's after winter. I didnt understand why all the fuss over the ride quality until today. I just got back from vacation in anaheim and man those concrete roads suck. I personally think the road we have(at least in vancouver) are WAY better quality and thus 19's wont be a problem. I also looked at the axis seven at wheel warehouse while i was in LA. There was a 4th gen max there with neeper 20's on it. I couldnt frikken beleive it. One of the employees owns it sayin that the 245 35 20 was fine for overall rolling diam. Yeah right. Anyways I think if you go 19's your better to go with 1 piece wheels for the strength.

I've seen the 4th gen Maxima with the neeper 20" rims at the wheel warhouse. Those wheels look to big on that car!!! To have a neepers that are chrome in one piece style, it just does not look right. Now that Passat and the Mercedes with 19" 3 piece wheels look sweet as hell!!! What do you think about wheel warehouse? Do you know of any good places to get rims from? Thanks for the reply....
