Does anyone have pics of there max with Mirror tint?

I am trying to decide if I want to go with mirror tint or regualr black tint. If my car was any other color(sterling mist) I would probably go with black, mirror tint should match my paint very nicely. BTW I am definalty going to go with 20%.

So if you have any pics or know where I could find them that would be great! Thank you

Re: Does anyone have pics of there max with Mirror tint?

I have a 2k2 sterling mist, and i went with the 30% platinum tint.
This tint looks like mirror tint sometimes and it looks like black tint sometimes, it depends on how the sun hits it, but either way it is amazing.

I don't have a digital camera, but i will try to get my buddy to take a picture tommorrow, and I will post it

My car has that Metallic Tint. When you loook at it during the day, it has a mirrored look to it. It is a Formula One tint .. cost me $175.00 for the entire car... My first mod on the way home from picking up the car at the dealer !

I have 35% Llumar Platinum on my car. You can check out my homepage ofr some pics, but you can't really tell since it's only 35%. I like it...a little more privacy than the black 35%. But it's light enough where it looks kinda like black tint during the day.

Formula One rocks! I have the same metallic tint w/ the lifetime warranty and card

Though my % numbers are all jumbled up. If i remember correctly, front windows - 35%, back windows - 32%, rear window - 20%

Depending on the angle and the sun it will look "mirror-like" due to the Maxima glass' green thermal tint which adds to the shine. However, it's not as reflective as the real mirror tint.

I'll try to get some pics when i get home this afternoon.

Re: Oh, you know it!!!

Actually.... one can theoretically do it. But only if they can get a medical certificate from their Opthalmologist or Optometrist.

LOL! , i OTOH actually have light sensitivity. After years of working in dark and/or dim places (Network/computer rooms/medical laboratory) and doing graphic design (where lack of light also makes for more accurate color reproduction onscreen) what else can one expect?

this is 20% platinum

Platinum is black tint that is part metallic that makes it more reflective. It depends on how the sun hits it. Look at the pics and you will see what I mean. This is what I would recommend. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the pics guy's!

Juice I like the way your tint looks, I think I am going to go with that. When I go to the tint shop on Monday do I just tell them I want "platinum" tint or is there a special name for it?

That's the same one i have though i don't recall what it's actually called (just classified as metallic). Different between juice's and mine is his is 20% on all windows. I only have 20% on my back window.

Go with the Platinum, it'll match your car real well. It's also called "smoked mirror tint", I saw it on Paul's (02MaximaSE) car at a meet. Matches Sterling Mist perfectly.

Platinum tint...

Every tint manufacturer calls it a different name. Platinum is what the company called it that my shop used. Others call it titanium or High performance tint. I guess it depends where you go
