2k2 GLE, how much should I pay?

Getting ready to purchase a 2k2 Maxima GLE. All options except for the Navigation system. Dealer quoted me $27,000 flat. Is this a good price? Im particularly interested in the cost the people with NAV have been getting

thanks in advance

Well, I dont know the going price in your area. But when you say every option except Navi, do you really mean ALL? As in splash guards and the whole shebang? Just curious, if you use edmunds.com to calculate your vehicle price it may give you an idea of what to pay. But its getting very close to time for 2003 models to hit the floor and I think dealers are going to get very eager to sell whats on their lots soon, very soon. So haggle with em a bit, but 27k doesnt sound bad to me if its fully loaded down cept navi.

I'm in the process of getting my next car and I'm in a battle between a few cars, the SE & GLE Maxima is a tough call for me thus far. Where do you live? That may help me figure out a good selling price to lock into.

Best of luck,

Duane

I got my 02 GLE with everything but nav (meridian, TCS, sunroof w/ visor, splash guards, in-cabin filter, floor mats, spoiler, side airbags) in Jan for $26,700. Could have gotten $26,400 from carsdirect.com but my dealer includes one year of free scheduled maintenance.

I got the full boat GLE , expect the NAVI, meaning:
Sunroof
Meridian
Side Air Bags
Traction
Sunroof Deflector
Rear Painted Flaps
Mats
plus, I had the dealer throw in the all season set of mats.
I paid $26,900 back in November....and got the 3.9%
for 36 months. You should be getting good rates for the financing
or the $1000 off too.
You should be able to get down a bit lower now.

I own a 2002 Nissan Maxima SE i pay 23,000 0 miles but if i was you i will wait for the 2003 models (4WD)!!! thats the rummor... But if you cant wait dont pay more than $25,500 Play the game shop around and dont let them give you any ****, they are just after the weak one and you are not WEAK right?!!
Why dont you get a SE with everything W/O navigation!!! better handling!!! trust me..

tks for the good info.

I went and drove the SE & GLE yesterday and really like how the SE handles and settles back down after bumps very quickly. The GLE is a very comfy ride dont get me wrong, but the SE is not harsh at all and takes away the floaty feeling the GLE gave.

So I'm prob gonna get the SE just need to do some work on priceing and all that. I just want a fair deal is all, not to screw someone one way or the other, just a fair deal, but if its really low its all good with me hehe.

I just bought a 2k2 SE 6spd this week, and the MSRP was 27,034, I got it for 23,140.00 Which was 1,200.00 under invoice, can't think of a better car for this kinda money.
