For those of you who have 18" rims

I just got a set of 18's for the Maxima. I was wondering what tire pressure others of you are running?? Daily drive...some fun after work...I put 32lbs in them for now because that is what the owners manual said but that was for 17's.

Hmmmm

Depending on what type of fun I'm trying to have. I'll keep mine in the 32-34 range for the weekday commute. On the weekends if we go to the mountains for some canyon runs then up to about 34f and 36r. Depends on the tire really, and how supportive the sidewall is. Some tires have more flex that needs to be stiffened when "having fun"!!.

When I had my 18's, I had Toyo Proxes 245/40, and it would always seem as if the tire was underinflated.
I ended up running 42psi in the front and 40psi in the back. This way, the tires seemed to have the correct footprint, although the ride was rough...
I think it depends on the tires and the strength of the side walls. My friend has some 18's w/ different tires and he runs them 36f-32r.

Excuse me for asking, but wasn't that the max tire pressure in the front? I am referring to the 42psi
