any idea what this noise might be??

it sounds like there's something loose in the engine bay, like a dangling cable whacking against something else. it sounds like a light thud from inside and i can hear it when going over uneven surfaces or speed bumps. i checked the engine bay several times already and i zip tied any loose wires/cables in there that could have made the noise but no go. it seems to be getting more and more frequent these days so whatever it is it's getting worse. any ideas???
could a cv joint make that kind of noise??? anything else in the suspension maybe?? i can't think of anything else, but then again, i'm not the mose experienced guy with cars. i'm getting a bit concerned, but even if it's nothing, i wanna get rid of it cuz it's starting to get on my nerves. thanks.

Check your intake...I am not certain if the Berk style is suspended or rests on the front of the wheel well...also, noticing you have a RSB...you can check the rear bracket on the right side for scoring on the back edge...move the bracket about 4 inches to the left (towards center of car) and this should fix it. Good Luck and Happy Motoring.

I've noticed the same thing on my 01 AE (completely stock). I plan to have it checked by the dealer on the next oil change. I'll post with the results when I get them.

well i took off my fstb to see if that was it and the noise is gone!
how in the world would it make noise after having been in there for almost 40k miles??? anyhow, i'll have to figure out what was hitting it.

btw, the berk intake has a nice brace that keeps it from moving too much.
