2002 nose mask

2002 nose mask

has anyone had trouble putting on the nose mask for the 2002.....
I'm having problems w/ the corner clips above the front tires.....
there is nothing to clip them onto...
suggestions

new bra needs to be stretched..soooo, may the force be with u...better if u have two ppl working on it.

Set it in the sun for a while (a long while) to get it warm first or you could use a heat gun (low setting!) or hair dryer. Lots of these have been ripped trying to get them installed.

no problem stretching it.......
i just dont see anything above the front tires to clip it onto....
there is a screw there ....but really nothing to clip on to....
the mask fits perfect except for the problem i'm having w/ the ends..

From your description, it sounds like you need a couple of screws with a 'snap' type head. This will replace the plain screw that you are seeing. These should come with the bra. If they didn't, a dealer should be able to fix you up. The bra that I had for my 91 SE didn't have these screws and the dealer gave me some. Hope this helps.

The bra for my 2k clipped into the seam btwn the wheel liner and the metal lip around the inside of the wheel well. As I recall, there weren't any obvious loops or holes to clip on to - just a flange that joined the liner and the fender of the car. The was a hole in the part under the hood. These are holes that are in the channels in the weld seam right where the fender connects to the engine bay.
