Kev, you should have got the Michelin Pilot Sport's. I heard they're pretty light. And don't tell me they're too expensive. If you have the money for the LE37K's, you should be able to purchase the Michelin's.

Black? Nah..... I'll take purple or a deep-purplish blue.
The Re730's. They were so much cheaper than the Toyos, so i had to get them, thanks for showing me that site.

And yes black, Dont be stupid and paint it something else. Black would look awesome. Purple will be ghey, and you know you want the purple like this smiley

RE730 treadwear is 300 compared to 220 for the Pilot Sports.

I'll be keeping these for a while because I've been eyeing them for close to 2 years now.

Yeah, that blue looks nice too. I won't paint the car unless I get into an accident.

SE37K:
17 X 8.5 is about 15.4 lbs
19 X 8.5 is about 17 lbs

So I'm guessing the exact weight is somewhere in the middle

Weight on shipping package was 48 lbs, but I really doubt that (probably wanted to charge me more for shipping). So 48 - 26 (tire weight) = 22 lbs... which is impossible.

Only way to find out is to take one of them off and weigh it. Perhaps the Bridgestones are heavier than expected. The 17x8 SSR Competitions with 235/45/17 Bridgestone Potenza S03s I had before listed at 44 lbs on the packing label. I put one of them on my dad's commercial scale(very accurate)and it weigh in at 43 lbs, that's after I took off the packing material. And you know how light the Competitions suppose to be, so it had to be the tires.

Btw, like I said, the only downside is the weight for Bridgestone tires. I have the RE950s and they're not light for sure. However, the tires are really good. I don't regret getting them.
