Purchased 2K2 SE

Took delivery of my new baby. 2K2 Glacier Pearl SE, 6 Spd, Frost Leather, Bose, Sunroof, Mats, Splash Guards, and wind deflector.

I had a 2K Maxima SE with same options (black int.) but rolled it 3 times. She held together well and I came out with 2 broken fingers. I feel very lucky and count my blessings.

This is my first post but I do frequent here for info often. This site is very informative.

Just wanted to share my happiness right now. Any advice or questions for me??

2K2 SE

Thanks for all comments everyone. I need to get a digital camera so I can post some nice pics. I don't see this happening too soon. May borrow a friend's camera. I don't see any mods just yet. I want to find out what mods I can do that will not void the warranty. I'd like to drop it about 1-1.25 inches. Maybe a CAI, K&N, Xenon fog lights, New or painted grille, metallic soorsills and pedals, and a 10" JL Audio sub for some bottom end.....for now.

As for the 2k Maxima, I fell asleep on the highway and hit a guardrail that launched me in the air into a roll. (kinda like the car crash they would always use on "The A-Team"....if anyone remembers)

Does anyone know of anybody or any company that has an enclosure for a sub that would fit up under the passenger foot well? Just curious. Thought maybe I could fit a 10" under there.

Thanks

ahhh "The A-Team" a classic show--Kenwood makes a little 6" bass thing that goes under the seat but I don't think you'll get much deep end out of it--I just got the Infinity Basslink and it looks like it would fit up front somewhere or on the rear floorboard

yay - another 6-speed

congrats, you got it with the 6-speed - the only way to fly! I highly recommend you switch the tranny fluid out with some Redline MT-90. Slap some H&Rs on there too - that'll tighten up handling considerably.

Have fun, and keep some no-doz handy for those late night drives.

More ?'s

If I used Redline for tranny fluid, how often would I need to replace the fluid? What are the advantages to Redline?

I'm getting the tint done as we type. I made the dealer throw it into the deal. I talked to the parts guy and he told me they didn't carry much for performance parts. As we all know later this year NISMO is going to offer parts through dealers.....and these will not void warranty. The parts guy is very excited about that and so am I. (SUPERCHARGER----- yeah I can't wait!!)

I'll probrably also add FSTB/RSTB too.

Thanks for all your answers.

P.S. I'll make sure to keep this one on the road.

Re: More ?'s

I didn't think there was going to be a supercharger for the '02's due to space limitations......

Am I on crack or did I just miss the announcement??

I hope that the theory is wrong, too. I'm sure there is someone out there that can figure out a way to make it work.

Start savin!
