New 2k2 6spd owner as of last night
My dealer gave me a great price on a 2k2 Majestic blue 6spd on
frost leather Saturday night. Every single option but HLSD and Nav. I think I'm really going to like driving something with alot of torque after driving a 4cyl for so long. The dealership experience was pretty cool. I walked out of the office after bargaining with the salesmanager, and the guy went out the back door and cut me off at my car with another offer
The only thing about the car that could be improved IMHO is the shifter action. Its way too spongy, but an aftermarket short throw should taker car of that some. Anyway, looking fwd to being a part of the Max community.

PS- Anyone know where the OBDII diagnostic port is on these cars?

Congrats
Congrats, I just got my Pearl 6spd on Tuesday. I don't know if there is a short throw shifter available. I am treating mine like a baby for the 1st 1500 miles or so...then I'll unleash the beast.
Sound like we got all the same options.

Isn't the M45 the same as the Nissan Cedric?
The M45 looks strangly like the previous generation Q45 "4.1" but now with the "4.5"
If the M45 is based off the same platform as the older Q45, I don't see why they are even bringing it over here seeing that the Cedric will be redesigned in about 1-2 years making a short life span for the M45.
The 2003 Maxima will be the same as the 2002's, with an exception of a titanium model. According to the people on www.freshalloy.com Nissan isn't taking anymore orders for the 2k2, so now they are taking orders on the 2k3 and some has mentioned about some titanium model, A special edition model just like the 1999. I think the features will be similar to the 2001 SE AE with chrome door sills, different shifter, Titanium colored C-stack, trim and badge here and their and also Polished rims. I believe it's available only with Leather package and the other packages that you must get to get the leather package.
Don't quote me on that. I'm pretty sure Emax knows more about it than I do.
