2k2 exhausts upgrades

I haven't been able to find any cat-back exhaust upgrades for the 2k2 Max. Are there any? HKS, Greddy, RSR, etc???

Ques 2: Can you change the dome light to a cooler color? It's kinda a funky looking bulb.

The dome light can be changed. It is the smalled Torpedo style bulb. You wont find it at an auto store. You will have to go to your local rice shop for these type of bulbs.

The cat-backs that fit on the 2k-2k1's fit on the 2k2's. Someone correct me if i'm wrong. Emax and couple of others have put on the greddy cat-back exhaust already and are having no problems.... except happy WOT foot slamming syndrome.

The dome light should be a these: http://www.midnightmoose.com/3157.htm
go to www.5thgenmaximas.com for the coupon code for 10% off

Good luck

Actually, those aren't the lights. The dome light is a "torpedo" shaped thing with contacts on either end. I think I'll try the ol rice shop. As for the Greddy's, is there a good online store you guys go through for your max parts? Stillen is way too expensive.

Have one custom made for 1/2 the price as the others. This will allow you to custom the sound and cash flow.Depending on where you like you might not need stainless which will save you alot of ching. This will allow coin saved for another mod.Just my .02.Good luck.

Right on...those are the bulbs. Now, the question is...which color? Green might be a little weird...Red...also weird. Hyper white??? What did you put in? I like how the interior light "fades" in and out when you open the car. I think a sweet color would really enhance this.

What were your results on the dyno? And also, how LOUD is it? I don't want a fart can on the back of my car. Some people enjoy that...I'd rather have something that is barely noticeable at high RPM's. Lastly, how much did that set you back? $500 or so?

This is what I am doing. I have never wanted to dish out the $$ for a stainless exhaust. For many reasons . I wont keep the car long enough to benefit from S/S..... The sound and performance is the same. ..... I ran NON stainless customs in my Stang, and T/A, saved lots of $$ and both cars were so FIERCE sounding, they would scare most people from racing. ..... I live in California now, there is no Rain, or snow..... Save your money guys, im getting quotes of a bout 200.00 for a Catback custom ....

Don't you get it, kloogy? There's just no status in having a no-name exhaust that performs as well as a name brand exhaust and only costs about half as much. I mean, how do you expect to attract women if you can't tell them about your (HKS / Greddy / Cattman / Stillen (select one)) exhaust system?

I saw the HKS exhausts on the NOPI sight. I'd love to have a custom one thrown together...problem is finding someone to do it cheaper than buying one already made. I don't think there are as many speed shops up here in OR as there are in CA.
