Just put on 18"s
Just put on 18"s
Sorry folks, dont have a camrea to post pics, but they look really phat. What kind of pressure should I maintain for everyday street use on 235x40R18 tires? And what torque are you guys using?
Our local Sears store is out of bus, so I had to drive around the city for 2 hrs to find a good deal on torque wrench.

You are deprived.Hobert
I am telling you, the Sears store in my area is closed now (it doesnt mean it went out of business). I bought my torque-wrench for 25 bucks at a local parts store, pretty cool. There is a big difference in ride (4 out of 5) in the city, can feel almost every little bump, but it is acceptable. On highway, the ride is still smooth like it was before, because I didnt touch the suspension. And now, I can take corners at speeds would have never dreamed of before. The car became a bit slower and takes more gas, but what a jaw dropper it is)
I would never put anything more than 18" on a Max.

I torqued my lugs to 90 ftlbs. I haven't checked pressure yet but I am going to try and keep them as high as possible 35-40psi unless I am going to the track.
