im thankful i have my old SE to drive but i kind of wish we had sold it already. that way i probably would have gotten to borrow one of my uncle's cars remember these puppies?
but i doubt i would have gotten to drive any of those back to school. probably would have made me take the lexus SUV ( LX )that still would have been nice. STUPID MAXIMA!

Deer
Don't feel sorry for that deer. Just thank God you were not hurt or killed. Out here in suburban Phila. deer are a MAJOR problem. I myself have hit 3 deer in the past 10 years. One with my '89 Civic SI going about 70 mph (crumpled hood, threw it over top of the car), one w/ our '96 Explorer at about 45 mph (no damage except fur under the bumper), and clipped a 3rd w/ our old '89 Integra this past fall (no damage was able to maneuver around it and miss most of it). My wife had previously nailed a deer w/ the Integra when she was 7 months pregnant with my oldest son. Trashed the hood and windsheild. VERY thankful they were both ok. Still get teary-eyed just thinking about that one, could have easily lost both of them if she was going a bit faster, and the deer made it all the way through the windshield. I get so ****ing ****ed at these animal rights activists that want to stop the controlled hunts by sharpshooters in our area. I agree they are beautiful animals. Could I personally shoot one, probably not. but if one of my family or friends died because of one, pass me the M16. Sorry for the rant, glad you were not hurt! Find a good body shop and you'll never notice the damage....

hey man that sucks. I did the same thing to my maxima about a month ago. I was going about 110 though. it is a bad thing when a max hits a deer. but i did get a body kit out of the whole accident though. oh well that sucks and i hope that u get your max back out on the road.

Thank God we don't have any deer here!
Sorry to hear about your accident man. Geeze just by looking at the indentation it looks like you hit there a pretty big deer. So much for paint chips on hood and bumper! You get to start brand new again. BTW, what catagory does hitting a deer come under? I wonder if your insurance rates will go up?

i doubt it will go up...obvious this is not his fault....but he has to pay the deductible though....

1. It should be covered under your comprehensive portion of your policy which means a smaller deductable - like $100 vs the standard $250 or $500 for collision.
2. There is one less ****ing deer.
I hate them damn things.

hopefully it wont go up but i guess that is their decision. our deductible is only $100 i think so thats not a big deal.
no estimate yet.
