there is a TSB for windows yeah, but ive noticed windnoise leaking in from the door seals too. it seems the rubber doesnt block all of the air or something. it sucks. let me know if you discover a way to remedy this problem!!

lcf, maybe the windnoise is coming from YOUR BUSTED WINDOW!!! Honestly, I'm sorry to see that some A$$HOLE wrecked your Max.

Maybe we can get some extra rubber seals inserted... or buy some off a BMW or something & try to retrofit(?) I haven't really noticed the seal noise, but DID notice the rear passenger window noise, which goes away if I press hard on the inside plastic trim piece. I have located a website that sells auto carpets & sound insulation... I will order some & install to key areas & let you guys know the details. (not anytime soon, cause my video equip has just arrived)

heh, i know, sucks about the window. sigh...

but yeah, next time youre in the max, have someone drive and you get in the back and grab a hold of the door handle and pull inwards (like closing the door tighter), i guarantee a LOT of the windnoise will disappear. this is why i think i have more of a problem with the rubber not stopping all of the wind, than the windows leaking air (TSB). THIS IS WHY A LOT OF PEOPLE ARENT HAPPY AFTER HAVING THE TSB DONE! THERES STILL WINDNOISE!

try it out though, im curious how other max's react when you do this. also, word, let us know what you did if you can get rid of a lot of the noise!

Sounds good. I'll give it a shot & let you know. I'm curious to see if they addressed this in 2k2 models (like mine). Maybe if you have a friend w/2k2 you can compare the door seals & see if they match. Then maybe you can order the 2k2 ones & resolve the problem.

hey what's up guyz, i finally found sometime to take the car down to the dealer, i told him about the windnoise, and so he drove it around. All he told me was that it was the road noise and that they couldn't do anything abomut it. But, even still, it seems to me like wind is coming through...someone pls. let me know whats up....
