Where are the street racing hot spots in Maryland. My friend took me to a spot near Baltimore off of Security BLVD but I know there are others.

 

street racing is dangerous. One of my friends was seriously injured when some "Street Racerz" ran into his vehicle at high speeds.

Racing is for the track, not the street. Unless it's some deserted backroad or something

 

That's where street racing is usually held, on the backroads. Really I just want to hang out and see some tuned cars. And show off the Xenons.

 

Where do you live in MD? I am from MD too. There is some street racing going on ogg exit 18B where salvos is.

What's up; I live in Falls Church/Tyson and work in Rockville; I'll be moving closer to work at the end of the summer; I haven't heard of or seen any street racing either; is there a track you guys go to around here?

 

How come there's so many street race threads lately? The next full moon isn't until the 26th.

 

 

Just outside of the New Carrollton Metro used to be a big place. They have since placed speed bumps in the road though, so I don't know where everyone goes now. It was a big thing for a while, made it on the news and stuff. I'm sure there is still stuff going on somewhere around there.

 

Yeah, people show up at the Salvo lot but the racing is on Nothern Parkway. People usually hang on the lot by Wendys till the cops come thru. Then they all run down to the Salvo lot. LOTS of cops on Nothern Parkway. There's been some real bad accidents there, mostly with bikes tho.

 

How about you guys go to 75/80 racetrack in Urbana? That is where the real racing takes place. Friday nights just started two weeks ago.
