HELP!! Brake Pad Recommendations for 2K2???

I just brought my 2K2 into the dealer because of out of round rotors. The dealer is willing to replace the front rotors and pads. The rotors had clearly overheated and had a strange blueish hue to them which indicated the overheating.

I know that X-drilled rotors are an option, but I don't want to spend a huge amount of money on this. I figure that if the dealer will install all new rotors and pads that I can replace the pads immediately thereafter with some high performance pads. Hopefully the new pads won't be prone to overheating and will give better braking performance overall.

Does anyone have any recommendations on what would be a good option? Considerations, in no particular order, are: heat dissipation ability, braking performance, fade, feel and price.

All suggestions are welcome.

Thanks in advance!

Andy

Try Porterfield or KVR Performance. Porterfield might be able to have it custom made for you if you provide them with a sample of the original pads. Both are equally good but I notice that KVR produces less brake dust compared to Porterfield R4S that I'm using now.
