Heated seat operation? I have no manual.

What does forward/backward do on the heated seat toggle switch? Is one high/low? which one? By forward, I mean towards the dash, backward towards the back seat.

Absolutely. I wonder what the BTU's coming off that seat are after 15 mins of operation?!

Spontaneous seat combustion?

Then my driver's seat must be defective. It's actually uncomfortably hot when wearing light cloths (sweatpants, etc.)

LOL!!!!!! Reminds me of an old thread on

another car forum where one guy (me) was complaining about early seat bottom discoloration and a board wag suggested I stop farting on the seat...

Watch that hot setting....u dont wanna promote seat discoloration

You know, I wonder...

any of you have an AE? Maybe I don't feel the heat so much is two fold...

1. When it is cold enough out to heat the seats, I am wearing something heavy enough anyhow...

2. Maybe the ventilation of the perforated leather on AE's helps to spread out and dissipate a huge heat build up....

hmmmm....
