5 spokes on a GLE???

5 spokes on a GLE???
My buddy justt bought a 2000 GLE. I checked out the rims the other day and they are factory Nissan w/ 5 spokes. Did the 2k GLE come w/ 5 spokes. I thought it was 7??? Or is that just the new ones?

all GLE's bought between 6/99 and 10/99 had 7 spokes. After that, about 1/2 had 7 spokes for a few months.

I have a 2k GLE with the 16" x 6.5" 5 spokes. It was delivered to the dealer in late February 2000 when I took delivery.

I've got 5 spokes. I think my DOB was around 6/99. Can't remember.

My White 2000 GLE was born 12/99 it's got the 16"X 6.5" 5 spokers with the Toyo Proxes....nifty.

mine is 6/99
and I got 7 spokes. 2 months later the 5's came out and the dealer let me swap

what are the 7 spokes? those ugly ones that some have on the 2k/2k1 GXE?

there are definitely more than 7 spokes on the GXE (9 IIRC). i should know, theyre a b*tch to clean. the only 7 spoke 5th gen rims are the SE rims.

Sorry, 5th gen SE have 6 spokes.
