P-Daddy's Virgin Post

Hello all.

No, this isn't about virgins...

I bought a 2k2 SE two weeks ago and have become a full-fledged Maxima fanatic. Awesome car. My only complaints are torque steering and yaw.

So, after reading the forums for a few hours, I bought an Addco bar from CustomMaxima. After taking some measurements, it looks like the bar isn't wide enough. Will this fit my 2K2 without extra spacers? Are there any warrantee issues?

My Stillen strut bar is on the way too.

Oh yea, this site rocks. Keep up the good work.

Congrats on the purchase. The Addco RSB should fit. Haven't heard anything about them for 2k2's yet. Have fun with it!

I have been running a Addco RSB on my 2002 now for about 5 months. It's a tight fit but it does fit. I had the same bar on my 95 max and 98 I30, I love it.

I can't imagine very many warranty issues due to a sway bar or FSTB. About the only thing I can imagine is anything having to due with a blown strut - the dealer could claim there might have been undue stress on the strut due to the bars. But this is kinda far fetched.
Anyway, enjoy and welcome to the Org!

addco fits great =)...just make sure you put the mounts/brackets as wide as possible on the axle...so they dont hit when you slam into a bump.

About the sway bar... first take it to a dealership you don't usually go to. If they say no, take the sway bar off and go to your usual dealer.

You should look into a LSD (Limited Slip Differential)by Quaife to help out on the torque steer...just some friendly info.
