Is top speed in 5th or 6th?

Was out for a run yesterday afternoon and decided to "see what she'll do". I was on a stretch of 2 lane country road with a slight incline and nobody was in sight. Took it to redline in 4th and then left it in 5th but could not get it to rev any higher than ~6k rpm which was an indicated 225 kmh (~140 MPH). I shifted into 6th which was about 4500 rpm at that speed when I had to slow down as an intersection was fast (VERY fast) approaching. So is 6th gear faster or is 5th? The wind was pretty variable at the time and, as mentioned earlier, I was going up a slight hill--so I potentially could have gotten a few more klicks out of the speedo in 5th. BTW the Max felt solid at that speed and the car was vibration free.

It's questionable. The numbers seem to point that 6th and 5th should do about the same speed. They're close regardless of which way it falls.

Are you sure that's 6th? You are already at 6k in the picture. Which would be about 175mph in 6th!

It was worth it, why do you ask ?
I doubt it will allow you to go any faster, but definitely quicker.

Using NX Wet System jetted for 75 shot, ZEX system has been sold to a NYS Resident w/ a Maxima.
