Nos...??

anyone here got NOS..??..i heard somewhere like theres a way for the nos to only work at wot...anyone else hear about this...??
also is nos safe for our engines...??...would i need to do some mods to my automagic first..??

NOS is safe if it's used properly and it should cause minimal damages to your motor, but if it's used at the wrong rpm you'll be back in the dealership trying to explain why your motor is dead. Personally I think street cars using NOS is pointless unless you're a weekend racer at the drags and still then it's pretty stupid considering that if it causes damage most people don't have the money to get their cars fixed. It's like the old saying, "Don't play with fire unless you won't to get burned." Just my 2 cents though.

yes there are a few systems that stay armed all the time, but will not activate until the pedal is to the floor, and even then its programed to kick in at a desired rpm, say 3200 and kick off about 200-300 rpms before redline. the nos systems that ive heard of workin ok maxima are the dry setup, that mean it shoot just nirous and no fuel if u didnt know. also since u got the auto, u might wanna beef if up with a upgraded valve body just to start with and even a torque converter dependin on how big of a shot ur gonna go with, just remember what nos can do to ur engine...
