recirculation or fresh air???

anyone know if one is better for the engine than the other? some examples: if i let the a/c get cold while in fresh air mode, is it better to then switch over to recirc(im thinking it would take less power to keep the cold air inside the car cool as opposed to cooling outside air)...same goes for heat...i tried searching for an answer to this question, but i couldnt find it...help a newbie out

same about of power..

the only way to get your power back is by turning the ac off or putting it in ECON mode. the ac runs all the time with climate control. even with heat (dehumidifier)

I am recall the manual said not to use the recirc button when the heat is on, only use it with for the A/C. With Recirc on the car will be cooler faster. You should first drive the car on a hot day with the windows open to let the hot air out then hit the recirc.
