Whats the best jump for 1/4 times
I got a 2K max and was wondering what is the best rpm's to start with. I have tried anywhere from 2-4 and it always seems to just leave me with zero tourqe or spin right through 2nd. What have u guys used to get your best times? Should i try starting at a high (3-4) rpm and just pop the clutch and not gas it all the way until it catches or what?

The *finesse* part is where you determine through trial and error how to modulate the go pedal and the clutch pedal on your specific car to arrive at your optimal combination of fast acceleration *and* little or no wheel spin. It's all in the sque-e-e-eze...
The best method for me has been a 4000 rpm clutch rideout. Just ride the clutch and hold the revs at 4000 rpm as you leave the line. Its tricky....if you let the clutch out too fast youll spin, too slow and your 60 foot times will not be as fast as they can be. On 17" stock wheels and tires, I get anywhere from a 2.23 to a 2.26 60 foot time with this method. If you are running on the stock 17's with the crappy Potenzas, its hard to get a much faster 60 ft time. Ive never been able to do it. But, you get a sticky track, who knows?
