I had mine pop off the shock- scary as all hell. Has anyone else had this problem?

I've talked to five shops and they all say the spring is not coiled tight enough near the bottom for the perch on the shock.

Are you sure the shop installed the spring correctly? Maybe they didn't fit it snug onto your strut before putting it back on your car. It shouldn't pop off like that. Does the spring look the same as the other one that didn't pop off?

i just found out why

Ok guys u are gonna laugh at me- (KEVSE)

So I called Eibach and it turns out that Carparts.com has the wrong part listed for the 2000 maxima and they sent me the one for the 95-99 maxima... explains the problems..

So it cost me like 400$ because of their mistake... yo its ok was right just to go thru him to buy it...

Now they dont wanna refund me for the loss...Get this- I have to pay to remove them to send them back to get the right ones then pay for it to be re-installed.

Can you say !@#%$%%$^#@%$%$#%$#%$%$%$%$# bleep bleep bleep...

No laughing here. That's wrong of what they're doing. Don't buy from Carparts.com because many Maxima owners dislike them. Sorry to hear...
