2002 Auto's: How Fast? (List 1/4 Mile Times)
How fast have 2002 auto's run, and what do they run "for the most part". Please list time/speed and 60's if you've got them, and what mods as well.

I'll have an answer for you Saturday night..... There is an ORG member who recorded a Mid 14 in a 2K2 GLE.. Im not sure what his name is...If youre arguing with an Acura boy, I roasted a 2K2 TL-S ...

1/4 mile ET 15.033sec @ 90.58mph
2,500 miles on the odo.
Yeah, Kloogy. We're actually both arguing with the Acura boys at Accordv6.com (kill storys). (My handle is 99Accord.) Given the nature of the website and the forum, there isn't much for those guys to post (as far as kills made). So they're using the TL-S as their crutch (understandably).

wow, you guys with 2k2 autos are only getting 90 and 91 trap speedS? my 2k1 best was almost an 89, but my time wa about a .5 second slower. you're mid range must be amazing, cuz your 60's are only about .1 faster than mine...

14.8X with heavy 18s and frankencar (and Vb mod, which I think is negligble) 2.22? 60' if I remember correctly
and ran 2.24 60' the rest of the night with 14.9s and 92 or 93 something trap
all in upper 80s high humidity weather

Am I the only one, or am I sensing a "HATING" trend towards 2K2 Auto's..... @@@@@@ of course, the circus clown, with a $79 BMX, doesnt count....Let me clarify, that I bought a 2K2 auto, because I wanted to ! I drive a Mack Truck with more speeds than you could juggle, and I also own a Mitsubishi FMMR, for those of you who know about Big Rigs.......I want to drive an AUTO, on my OFF time ., from my business..

If your comparing to a TL-S/CL-S, I trapped at almost 97 mph in the 1/4 mile when i was stock at E-town. It's ashame because at that speed I was at the sweet spot of the VTEC rev range in third gear. The TL-S flies from that speed to 110, especially now with the headers. I'm trying to convince this kid I know with a 2K2 auto SE to race for fun, but he won't bite....oh well.

ITS EQUAL IN THE 1/4 WITH ME, 14.7-14.8 STOCK VS. STOCK, WITH MODS IT WILL SURELY MESS ME UP!!! IM WAS CONSIDERING THE NEW 2K3 CL-S 6SPD.

Nah. Leftcoast lives 2 minutes from me, and I have a feel for his car...I KNOW I can beat a TL-S with my Auto, I know I can Spank, Spank, Spank one in a 6 speed ! ,, If im around Vista, I'll stop by and get yours !

BTW, V6ACCORD.COM is the site. And I don't see any problems going on over there. Steve is saying all auto 2k2s run 14.7s, I am telling him most on this site have run 14.9-15.2 they is only a handful that have run 14.7 stock. He keeps denying that.

I did not claim that ALL 2k2 Max auto's run 14.7, my claim was that high-14's seem to be achievable reliably for 2k2 auto's, which they seem to be.

Sorry but they have a hard time getting into the 14s. Most are low 15s.

Going from a stock filter to a K&N is no more than going from conventional oil to Mobil 1. Unless you consider Mobil 1 a mod.
That I can knock off a 15.033 with out any major effort (other than keeping the gas pedal planted and the wheels straight) I think is evidence enought that I could probably knock off upper 14s should I decide to brake torque and manually shift. I was trying my best to get into the 14s without doing this, and look how close I got to it.

Per Steve's saying, a modded CL-S is one with plugs and a pop in filter. So you tell him that. So a K&N and no spare is modded. Thank you very much.

Why are we even mentioning Accords in the same breathe ? The times being posted here are for Maxx's that are Basically STOCK, some of which have dipped into mid-low 14's... Intakes and exhaust, are the only major mods, and those arent even significant mods. Accords ?? .. Cams, and such ? We dont need them to run a 15 or a high 14 !
