Nice write-up! I actually didn't think to leave the stock boot on there ... makes complete sense now ... (you can tell I haven't even installed mine yet!)

Re: Re: MoMo e-brake installation guide
the stock plastic cover u mean? I believe if u take it off, there will be more space for the momo boot and it will fit better. but I think u have to cut it open to take it off. have fun installing
thx all..
and one last thing : the vlecro comes with the boot doesnt stick to the rubber finish very well...they came off yesterday after parking my car under the sun all day. I will look into a different type of velcro or double side tape.

I tried to install it without the hose, seems the metal brace beneath the stock handle is too thin and when u put in the screws, they are not very stable. If u have the hose, the screws can go in there, which will have better support to the handle.

Is the boot long enough for us to tuck it inside the rubber piece? I want to be able to either double tape it to the part of the plastic boot inside the rubber piece .. doable?

Re: Re: Re: Re: MoMo e-brake installation guide
it is long enough except the front...u might have little trouble tuck in the front side due to limited space....it would be easier if the plastic base is removed.
so u want to tape the velcro inside the rubber piece? if so...it will be hard

I seem to be having trouble putting the adapter through the stock e-brake handle. Am I suppose to remove the base part of the adapter and put only the TOP one thru with the momo e-brake handle?
yup...the base plastic is there to protect the adapter from being crushed.....same as the MoMo handle...remove the plastic cover on the bottom also.

just make sure the opening for the e-brake button fits the brake handle the the boot will fit onto the e-brake handle. the momo boot is a bit too short and will not stick onto your stock e-brake base.....try leatherseat.com to see if their brake boots are long enough.
