$hitty dead pedall
Just wondering if anyone has found an aftermarket dead pedal. The metal pedals on the HLSD unit look great, and a real dead pedal to match the other pedals would be sweet. That flimsy piece of plastic has to go.

Hey asu174, where is southwest Autoworks located? I'm gonna be in PHX in about two weeks; taking the max on it's first big road trip. I have family and stuff there, and it's where I'm from but I haven't heard of it. Thanks!

Re: hey, this might sound like a stupid question
the "dead" pedal is the pedal looking thing against the far left (driver's side) of the driver's foot well. It's called that because it's intended for you to rest your foot on. Hope this helps!

You can buy mine from the Nokya set, I am not going to install mine...it is new in the package...let me know.
I bought mine in the $29.00 shipped kit and can send it in the original box...it is the polished one and looks nice but I don't want the dead pedal.

I know it might be ricey, but is there a way to use the clutch\brake pedal covers from an M/T set on the large brake pedal for an A/T?

j/k...they look great. And they don't have any crappy decals that wear off in a month. WELL worth the $30, especially since they include the impossible to find dead pedal. Plus the dead pedal fits perfectly, not like the crappy APC one that is wayyy too wide.

Thanks

Sounds like a pain, but the clamps are actually much better than the flexible bendy crap that come with Type R pedals. Very secure....... I looked at the AE's, but for $70? Ummmmmmm. I'll take my $25.....uh, I mean $30..... Nokya set any day of the week.

You said that you have to put a screw through the gas pedal or it moves? Do you mean you have to drill a hole in the gas pedal?
Thanks

Yes. I pounded a bolt all the way through and tightened it with a wingnut on the backside. I would highly recommend this AND getting better screws (silver)- Home Depot.
Also, you will need to pop three screws through the dead pedal, which is a piece of cake.
