HELP!!! Can't tell if...

I have a cali or fed? I have a 2000 GXE 5sp and I looked under the hood at the emissions thing and there is no mention of Cali anything. What will it say?

Mine doesnt say crap on the inside of the hood, but it is Cal spec. The easiest way that I was able to tell is byu the intake adapter. I could be completely wrong on this, but the fed spec has four bolts on it, but they are not the same distance apart- ie- two on the top, two on the bottom.

The Cal spec, on the other hand has equidistant bolts- one in each corner- the EXACT same distance apart. I learned this the hard way after trying to install my intake with the wrong adapter.

Where your air filter is- if you were to remove it and install an intake- there are four gold bolts- two on top and two beneath. It is where I was supposed to be able to connect my adapter.

I am terrible at explaining this because I know jack for terminology........ Anyone else wanna jump in here?

I have an intake yo! You mean those four bolts! The one that hooks up to the bracket? right? Hold on let me go check? Are you sure about this? Cuz punkdork sold me the filter and his intake bolted right up. I could have sworn he said he had fed spec

Ok I checked and it appears that there are two on top and two on bottom but the seem to be equidistant. I know I had a problem with the franken bracket that came with my mid section so I had to use the JWT bracket instead.

Alright...nevermind me... I'm probably wrong then. All I know is that the fed spec adapter came in and it didn't fit. I had to get one with the bolts further apart.......
