Limp Mode!!!

I went into limp mode today and I need to know if I can reset the battery or do I have to take it to the dealer. I know now I need to get the new pedal stopper, however the dealer is closed today and I need to know if I can erase the code by disconnecting the battery.
Thank You.

After you disconnect the battery pump the breaks to get rid off all the remaining electrons in the system and you shouldnt have to leave it for hours.

Thank You.
This happened to me once, it seemed to have fixed itself after a day or so of driving. Hope you have the patience..

NOPE! That trick doesnt work on the 2k2's. Do a search doods, this stuff has been kicked around before. The 2k2 has to be reset by the dealer, or you need to drive it and do @ 50 restarts and it will reset itself.

Yup, he's right, I had the same exact problem with mine, and I left the battery off for the whole night. All I accomplished was screwing up the 1 touch moon roof. If you drive it, it will go away, but if you are gonna take it to the dealer, you want the codes to be there.
