CANT believe this....BUT..beat a Formula V8

Yup....smoked him today.

On the highway...63MPH.

I was crusing to a customers, and here he comes...rollin fast. I move over, he gets behind a golf, the golf moves over and he nails it...

I then thow her into 3rd, and pursue, I caught up with ease...shifted into 4th, and was going to make the pass...but there was a truck, and I shut her down.

VERY impressed with my max.....BTW, the Firebird driver was a nice guy, gave me the thumbs up.

ALSO...it was not a brand new WS6 or whatever, I think it was about a 1999 model.

I LOVE MY CAR!!!

Sure, you hung with a 99 LS1... whatever. They run high 12s low 13s stock. Traps 102-105mph. You won't even stay close. Yes and autos run the same times as the 6spds.

Now a LT1, runs low 14s traps around high 90s, that is 95-98 model years, has the 4 headlights in front square small ones.

most likely a LT1... still a good kill...

but, don't be too proud about beating a V8...i mean to say is, don't go around shouting how V8s suck.

Plus, they didn't have Formula v8s for the current gen (as far as i know).

the LS1's are on average a low-mid 13 second car....yes, some have run high 12s stock, but, so far and few between that it's hardly enough to say any LS1 will run it.

Uhhh no...

The LT-1'a were made from 1993-1997, and they had 2 pop up lights, the LS1's have the 4 little lights. And they still do make LS-1 Formula's, a friend of mine has one. And I beleive he could rooout on an LT1 car, they only trap 94-96 in the 1/4 stock, and we all know the 2k2 Max is a monster on the highway.

Does your whole life revolve around cars?

Take a chill pill and go back to watching Goonies...

Add's credibility to my TA kill.

Last month I was back home in Chicago and I rented an 02 SE auto. I was thinking about buying one cause my lease was up so when I got to the Hertz counter at O’Hare I saw they had’em so I upgraded.

Well I was on my way back to return the car and this kid pulls up to me in a 97 or 98 Trans Am, no ram air. It's just getting dark and were sitting at a light my buddy is behind me in a Navigator. No one else is around so I look at the kid and point forward he nods I drop the shifter into 1st in the gate look at the gas gauge less than a 1/4 tank When the light changes I nail it, a little wheel spin so I feather it and stomp it again. I took 1st and 2nd to redline I never looked at the rpm's after that because once I hit 80 I got off it and started braking. I had him by a 1-1/2 car lengths! I also couldn't believe how fast the Navigator got very small in the rearview.

At the time I chalked it up to the kids inexperience I heard him spin some at the start also. It still had to fry his a$$ when I waived as he did his racer fly by.
